Very clean and tidy, lovely airy room, freshly painted house
No parking facility!!! A lack of personal contact from the owners made things feel a bit impersonal, especially with unanswered questions regarding breakfast options!!!

A Relaxing Getaway with Beautiful Scenery
Our stay in the Superior King Room was delightful! Enjoyed peaceful mornings with stunning views. The two private paths led us to the beach and charming shops. Pro tip, Book your breakfast in advance to avoid missing out! This quaint location makes for a perfect romantic retreat.

Cozy stay near the beach!
Had a fab time here! The location is super close to the beach, and the owners are really welcoming. My room was on the top floor, comfy and cozy. Breakfast was delish, with a good variety. Just wish the shower had better pressure, but overall, loved it!

Loved the cozy top-floor room and the beach was just a hop away! The flexible owners saved my day when plans went awry—thank heavens!
The shower was like a mischievous child—scalding hot one moment, icy cold the next! I half expected it to start singing show tunes!

A cozy top-floor room with a comfortable bed provided a lovely stay, with the added bonus of being just a short walk from the beach. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the owners displayed remarkable flexibility when changes to my plans arose due to rail strikes. the breakfast options were limited, and an extra duvet request for additional comfort went unfulfilled. The absence of parking facilities needs consideration, but the nearby general parking made it manageable.

Oh, the breakfasts at nearby Osborne's Coffee and Wine Bar had us smacking our lips over homemade jams and delightful brunch options. Plus, the property was spotless and beautifully decorated. Can't beat that central location either, just a hop, skip, and jump to the beach!
Bit of a bummer that we never got a proper welcome and the bed was softer than a marshmallow. But honestly, everything else still shined right through the cracks.

I had a cozy stay for 3 nights in a lovely double room, and I was super grateful for the owners' flexibility when my travel plans changed last minute. The outdoor seating area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Having tea/coffee in the room was a nice touch. The only hiccup was that we didn’t see the owners to ask about breakfast, but I'd definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable getaway! 😊

We had an amazing stay at Colebrooke House! Our room was spacious and bright, equipped with a comfortable double bed, a cozy seating area, and all the amenities we needed. The en-suite bathroom was generously sized and immaculately clean, complete with soft towels and quality toiletries. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast – a wide variety of choices including full English breakfast, cereals, and fresh fruit, all cooked to perfection by Wendy, who ensured we started our day right.
The only minor issue was the lack of on-site parking.

It was just a decent option for a concise stay in Beer with exceptional value. The shower lacked power, but the location was perfect for exploring the area. Make sure to stock up on supplies before arriving as nearby shops might be closed.

definitely want to stay in that area again
Spent 3 nights in a deluxe double room. Huge room with a comfy double bed and separate seating area. It was spotless and had a kettle with plenty of tea/coffee. Shower was great, and bathroom had soft towels. Breakfast had lots of choices, perfectly cooked to order by the owner. Close to the beach and easy check-in.

The location, while charming, fell short on accessibility to shops and restaurants, which were mostly shut, pushing me to travel elsewhere for essentials. The shower pressure lacked intensity, and the bed leaned too soft for my liking. communication about breakfast was unclear. the tables were set, but I had to chase down information and couldn't book it, leaving the experience a bit awkward.
